No, once you have reached approximately 1000 loads you will need to purchase a new set of Crystal Wash.


How do I recharge Crystal Wash?
Crystal Wash needs to be recharged approximately every 30 washes. The recharge process is simple….just place Crystal Wash in the sun for an afternoon and that’s it. There is nothing else you need to do… Just a little sun and fresh air and they will be just as effective as their first wash. If you do not have a yard, we recommend leaving Crystal Wash on a windowsill with the window open.


How do I recharge Crystal Wash if it is cloudy?
Crystal Wash needs the UV rays from the sun to recharge. Even if it is cloudy the UV rays will penetrate the cloud cover and recharge Crystal Wash.


Can I use an artificial sun lamp to recharge Crystal Wash?
We do not recommend it. We can only guarantee the effectiveness of recharging from the UV rays from sunlight. Crystal Wash needs sunlight and fresh air for the most effective recharge.


Will temperature affect the recharge process?
No, outside temperature will not affect the recharge process. You only need UV light and fresh air to return Crystal Wash to peak effectiveness.


Can I use Crystal Wash in a front load or high-efficiency washers?
Yes, Crystal Wash will work in all types of washer machines and has been proven to be as effective as detergent.


I have hard water. Will Crystal Wash still be effective?
Yes, Crystal Wash is effective in both hard and soft water applications.


Does the wash temperature affect Crystal Wash?
Crystal Wash is effective in all wash temperatures. Our testing shows the effectiveness increases with warm or hot water, but it is still effective in cold water.

Yes, the outer shell of Crystal Wash is recyclable and the bio ceramics will biodegrade.


Is Crystal Wash safe?
Crystal wash has been tested and shown to be non-toxic. Wash water tested post wash has been shown to have a significantly lower rate of toxicity then detergents. Crystal Wash is also cleared by the FDA for Safety.


Is Crystal Wash safe for delicates?
Yes, the outer shell of Crystal Wash has been carefully developed to be extremely gentle on all types of clothes, including delicates and intimates.


What will my clothes smell like after washing with Crystal Wash?
Laundry washed with Crystal Wash will be odor free. Crystal Wash has been shown to be effective in deodorizing and disinfecting odors. There are no added perfumes in Crystal Wash, and clothes come out smelling crystal clean. If a user desires a "scent" we advise to use a small amount of fabric softener.


Can I still use detergent?
Yes, you can continue to use detergent or fabric softener and it will not adversely affect Crystal Wash. We recommend using a very small amount for fragrance only, if a fragrance is something you desire.


Do I need to pretreat stains?
Yes, just like if you were using detergent. We recommend pretreating harsh stains with the stain remover of your preference.


Can I still use bleach?
Yes, there will be no adverse effects with using a whitener, such as bleach, with Crystal Wash. The use of bleach or other whitener is recommended, if you need additional help with getting whites white.


I have sensitive skin. Will Crystal Wash work for me?
Yes, Crystal Wash contains No Dyes, No Perfume, and No Chemicals. It is great for people with allergies and sensitive skin. Crystal Wash prides itself on its cleaning effectiveness without chemicals found in many leading detergents.


Will the changes in water by Crystal Wash affect well or septic systems?
No, Crystal Wash will not affect septic systems or any other systems involving wells, etc. When we say "change the pH" it's a simultaneous reversible reaction. H2O with H2O are constantly being reacted to form H2O2 and then right back to H2O. The hydrogen peroxide created will not remain in the disposed washing water for long periods of time.
